Temperatures plummet overnight in UK's big freeze

The UK is experiencing the worst early snowfall for 17 years.

Severe weather warnings remain in place in south-east Scotland and north-east England, with temperatures plummeting and some areas seeing up to sixteen inches of snow.

The BBC's Andy Moore reports.
