PM denies breaking NHS spending pledge

The Prime Minister has denied breaking a pledge to increase NHS funding.

During the election Mr Cameron said a Conservative government would increase funding in real terms every year.

But the Labour leader, Ed Miliband, says the NHS is now facing a cut in its budget, because inflation is higher than expected.

The political row broke out as the NHS in England begins to grapple with finding huge savings.

BBC's Health Correspondent Branwen Jeffreys reports.
