'Fewer than half' of stalking victims report the crime

Senior police officers say lives are being put at risk because not enough young victims of stalking are coming forward to report the crime.

New figures seen by the BBC suggest half a million people under 25-years-old were stalked or harassed last year.

But it is thought that fewer than half of them go to the police for help.
