Early learning described as 'far too bureaucratic' by review

The way that young children are taught in England has been described as "far too bureaucratic" by a government backed review.

A report into the controversial Early Years Foundation Stage has concluded that children are being measured against too many targets and teachers are being forced to spend too much time on paperwork.
