'Fantastic day' for South Downs National Park

The first anniversary of the South Downs National Park is being celebrated in Sussex amid concerns over increased bureaucracy in the region.

The park was approved on 31 March 2009 and was officially designated a year later. The park authority becomes fully operational on Friday.

Jeremy Cooke spoke to Margaret Paren, chair of the National Park Authority, who said it is a fantastic day for the South Downs landscape.
