One town's attitude to the immigration issue

Disagreements over immigration policy have erupted within the coalition government. In a major speech on the issue, David Cameron said an influx of foreigners had caused problems for many communities.

The Liberal Democrats' Vince Cable said the speech was "unwise", and risked inflaming extremism.

Labour leader Ed Miliband said the row showed that the coalition was one of convenience, not principle.

Jon Kay has been gauging opinion in Reading.
