Councillor's respects for lake death family
A man has been bailed after a crash in which a woman lost her mother, husband and two teenage foster children when their car plunged into a reservoir.
Police said two cars collided on the B4518 at the Llyn Clywedog reservoir near Llanidloes on Wednesday, and one plunged into the water. The woman escaped, but her family died.
A local man, 23, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Councillor Gareth Morgan, of Powys County Council, told the BBC: "We are all in this very close community deeply sad about what happened yesterday, it came as such a devastating shock."
