Council and organiser liable for inflatable artwork deaths
A High Court judge has ruled an event organiser and a council were to blame for the deaths of two women when an inflatable artwork, called Dreamspace, blew off the ground.
The tragedy happened almost five years ago at Chester-le-Street in County Durham.
Most of the compensation claims have been settled, but who was liable for the payments was never agreed.
Gerry Jackson reports.
