Review of phone hacking bid approved
Former deputy prime minister John Prescott is one of four men who have won their latest legal case in the phone-hacking scandal.
Another of the men given leave to seek judicial review of the way the police handled their complaints is former Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police Brian Paddick.
He told the BBC there could have been a number of reasons the Metropolitan Police did not examine the allegations in close detail.
