Songbird population reaches its lowest point on record

The music of songbirds was once a common sound in various parts of the UK, but now their population has reached its lowest point on record, with nightingales hardest hit.

Some conservationists believe it could be because crows and magpies are stealing eggs from their nests.

John Craven reports.
