Help for Heroes set to raise £100m

It has existed for just three and a half years but the forces charity Help for Heroes is about to reach a fundraising total of £100m.

Donations are being used to build specialist recovery centres to provide support for injured service personnel.

Its latest fundraising event - a bike ride through the battlefields of France - is expected to push contributions past the milestone.
