Cameron deflects RAF warning over capability alongside cuts
There has been another warning from within the armed forces about their ability to carry out operations abroad at the same time as making spending cuts.
The second most senior officer in the RAF has said the capability of the air force to cope with emergencies will be threatened if the Nato campaign in Libya continues past September.
But the prime minister has said he sometimes wishes military chiefs would do the fighting and let him do the talking.
