MPs say coastguard plan 'jeopardises safety'
Plans to close coastguard centres around the UK would raise 'serious safety concerns' and should be withdrawn according to MPs.
The Transport Select Committee looked at proposals to cut the number of coastguard centres open 24 hours a day from 18 to three.
Another five will remain open during the day.
