Parade marks UK Armed Forces Day in Edinburgh

A parade of 2,500 military personnel, veterans and cadets has taken place down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh to mark UK Armed Forces Day.

The celebrations were attended by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond and Prime Minister David Cameron.

Glenn Campbell and Lieutenant Colonel Liz Makinney-Bennett report on the celebrations, and the significance of the pageantry.
