The 'innovative' nature of the luxury hotel industry

Luxury hotels have always been a testing ground for the latest technology.

Hotel designer Ilse Crawford and historian Greg Votolato explain how deluxe hotels adopted new services, such as hot running water and light bulbs, long before they became an everyday convenience.
