Some immigration officers have begun strike action

Industrial action by public sector workers has begun getting under way.

Some immigration officers have already started their action, in the dispute about pensions, and are expected to be joined tomorrow by hundreds of thousands of others, including teachers.

Many schools in England and Wales will be affected and travellers across the UK could face disruption.

John Moylan reports.
