Two more patients die at hospital in Greater Manchester

Two more patients have died at Stepping Hill hospital in Greater Manchester, after saline solution was found to be contaminated.

Police said an 83-year-old man died on Thursday morning and an 84-year-old woman died on 14 July.

Assistant Chief Constable Ian Hopkins of Greater Manchester Police said it was "likely" the force would be asked to investigate further deaths and said the inquiry was a "complex investigation that takes time."
