Machine 'listens' for enemy fire

The BBC's Caroline Wyatt is shown a machine being used by the MoD that listens for enemy fire and can tell where it is coming from

British forces in Afghanistan are getting new help from a machine that detects incoming enemy fire.

First developed in the US, it has been honed for front line use by scientists at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory in the UK.
