Police chief: 'We remain steadfast and determined'

London is experiencing a third day of rioting, as violence broke out in boroughs across the capital.

Acting Commissioner Tim Godwin has said that the Metropolitan Police "remains steadfast and determined", and that parents should establish contact with their children to keep them out of harm on the streets.

He also urged Londoners to help identify troublemakers, when the police make their images public.
