Manchester riots' 'shameful criminality'

The vandalism and looting in Manchester was "shameful criminality", Greater Manchester Police's assistant chief constable has said.

Garry Shewan praised his force's response to the "extraordinary levels of violence" and called on people to cease the rioting.
