Cameron vows 'social fightback' in response to riots

Speaking in his constituency this morning he said he is determined to take on and defeat the long-standing social problems that he believes led to the violence.

The Labour leader, Ed Miliband has accused the government of "knee jerk gimmicks".

The BBC's political correspondent Ben Wright reports.
