Royal couple tour riot hit areas of London

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have been visiting areas of London hit by the riots.

Prince Charles said his charity, the Prince's Trust is to double its spending on youth projects in riot affected areas.

The royal couple met some of the residents who have lost their homes and businesses.

The BBC's royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell reports.
