MPs agree on need to reform British bank system

British banks are facing the biggest reform in a generation.

The chancellor has accepted the findings of an independent commission which wants high-street banking kept apart from investment banking.

But there's been criticism of the time scale of seven years and the banks are concerned about the cost.

The BBC's Business Editor Robert Peston reports.
