Thousands have parking fines refunded by London council

Almost 20,000 people will get parking and driving fines refunded by a local council because one man spent the last 18 months challenging his.

Nigel Wise was fined £100 by Richmond Council when he parked with two wheels on the pavement and although his car was spotted by a CCTV patrol vehicle, it was using a type of camera that didn't have the correct licence.

He told Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire how he successfully appealed his fine.
