Sport worker's London 2012 ticket Paralympic hopes

One woman waiting to see if her Paralympic ticket application has been successful is Sarah Price, who works for School Sport Partnerships in County Durham, helping provide sport for 40 schools in the area, including disabled children.

As well as the Opening Ceremony, she has applied to watch swimming, athletics, goalball, football and wheelchair basketball events.

"These are athletes in their own right", Sarah told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast's Rachel Burden. "If you see people as disabled people first, then you miss the point that they are actually athletes. The main thing is that disabled people can see on the TV the sports that they can get involved in."
