Children will be taught how media airbrushes photos

Children as young as 10 will be shown images of Britney Spears which are not airbrushed and male models in their underwear in a lesson designed to boost their confidence.

The Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone has backed the idea that aims to help children understand how the media alters images.

Paul Jackson is chairman of Media Smart and developed the lessons. He told Radio 5 live Morning Reports how children reacted to the pictures.
