Ban on cigarette machines in pubs in England

The sale of cigarettes from vending machines in pubs, clubs and restaurants will be banned in England from Saturday.

The government says the ban has been introduced to try to prevent children taking up smoking, and similar bans in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to come in next year.
