Food poverty affects four million in UK

Some four million people in the UK suffer from "food poverty" - not having enough to eat, or not being able to afford the right kinds of food, according to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

Lindsay Boswell from the charity FareShare, which distributes surplus food from supermarkets and manufacturers, told the BBC charities are facing increasing demand for food at the same time as their funding is being cut.
