Being a mixed-race family in the UK

Single mother Penny Walters from Bristol describes how she is raising six mixed-race children, from three fathers of Ghanian, Jamaican and Egyptian heritage.

She told the BBC's Mark Easton how she sees her role in filling in ''their cultural gap''.

Mark Easton's film, part of the Mixed Race Season, will be on Newsnight on BBC2 at 10.30pm on Wednesday October 5.
