IFS report: 'Squeezed middle' face income drop
A report from the Institute for Fiscal Studies claims that middle-income families will see the biggest fall in income since the 1970s.
Steven Ellis has an 18-month-old son and an average income of £36,500. He says he has noticed an incremental fall in his disposable income, following rises in food prices, energy bills and petrol.
"We're finding it a little bit of a struggle," he said. "We need a break."
