Tributes paid to the policeman killed in M1 collision
Tributes have been paid to a policeman who was killed in a collision involving a lorry on the M1 near Wakefield.
PC Mark Goodlad, 41, was hit on Monday afternoon after helping a woman whose car had broken down on the hard shoulder of the southbound carriageway.
The lorry driver, a 44-year-old Oldham man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
