Ford strives to prove financing is solid
Third quarter earnings from the American car maker Ford are released later today.
The numbers are expected to be an improvement from this time last year, the 10th consecutive quarter of increased profit.
It is striving to prove to Wall Street that its financing is solid.
It has been adding customers and cutting back on the huge discounts it offered to lure them in, and has big plans for Asia.
Michelle Fleury reports from New York.
