Jo Yeates murder: Police praise family's courage
Police have praised the family of murdered Jo Yeates, saying that they acted with "dignity, patience and courage" during the investigation into her death.
DCI Phil Jones, of Avon and Somerset Police, was speaking after Vincent Tabak was found guilty of murdering the 25-year-old landscape architect and sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in jail.
He said the killer was intelligent and manipulative, but that meticulous police work had helped convict him.
Miss Yeates, 25, was strangled in her Clifton flat after inviting her 33-year-old neighbour in for drinks on 17 December last year.
