Manchester United: How to keep a secret from Sir Alex

Manchester United has renamed the North Stand at Old Trafford the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand in recognition of his 25 years as manager of the club.

Ferguson was given a guard of honour by his own players and visitors Sunderland as he made his way on to the pitch for Saturday's Premier League game.

He said he felt really honoured and emotional when he saw his name on the stand.

Radio 5 live's Mark Chapman spoke to Phil Townsend, director of communications at the club, and asked him how they managed to keep it a secret?
