Leveson Inquiry: Lawyer apologises for NoW phone hacking

News International's lawyer at the Leveson Inquiry into press standards has apologised for phone hacking carried out at the News of the World.

Rhodri Davies also acknowledged the practice had been more widespread than initially thought.

It comes just days after the company's Executive Chairman, James Murdoch, was accused of misleading Parliament's hacking inquiry.
