'Sombre mood' at Kingsbury stabbing attack scene

There is a "sombre mood" in Kingsbury after four police officers were stabbed while attending to a disturbance, the BBC's Sangita Myska reports.

Witnesses said a man had been chased by police in and out of shops before he fled into a butcher's shop, grabbed a knife and attacked the officers.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe described the incident as "shocking".

Two of the officers were seriously hurt and one suffered a broken hand during Saturday's attack in Kingsbury Road, north west London.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
