Leveson Inquiry: Guardian reporter Nick Davies calls for end to self-regulation

Guardian journalist Nick Davies, who broke the News of the World phone hacking story, has told the Leveson Inquiry that he no longer supports the concept of self-regulation of the newspaper industry.

Mr Davies said: "I do not trust this industry to regulate itself. I love reporting, I want it to be free. We're kidding ourselves if we think it would work."
