Technology aids whisky production

The craft of building whisky casks has not changed much in hundreds of years.

The latest technology is changing how wooden whisky casks are made at Scotland's newest cooperage in Clackmannanshire.

It is hoped heavy-lifting equipment will help extend the working life of the coopers at the Cambus plant near Alloa.
