Autumn Statement: Plymouth residents react to chancellor's measures
The Chancellor George Osborne, has announced a new series of spending controls, which he said were made necessary by the UK's worse than expected economic performance, confirmed in his Autumn Statement.
Mr Osborne said an increase in the state pension age to 67 would be brought forward to 2026, and public sector pay capped at 1% for two years after the current freeze ends next year.
