Public sector returns to work after strike

Public sector workers are returning to work after their 24-hour strike over changes to their pensions.

The leaders of the main teaching unions will meet government officials later to discuss details of the proposals and health service unions will hold similar talks tomorrow.

There is some debate over how effective the strike was. The Prime Minister, David Cameron, dismissed it as a 'damp squib'.
