Leveson Inquiry: Questions over Dowler voicemails

It was one of the key moments in the phone hacking scandal that led to widespread public revulsion - the allegation that messages left on the phone of the murdered schoolgirl, Milly Dowler were deleted by someone working for the News of the World.

But a police lawyer told the Leveson inquiry into press standards that the paper may not have been responsible after all.
