London 2012: Lord Sebastian Coe guest editing the Today programme

London 2012 Olympics chief Lord Coe is the guest editor of BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Boxing Day between 0600 and 0900 GMT.

Lord Coe has been walking up memory lane in Moscow with Garry Richardson, returning to the stadium where he battled against Steve Ovett in the 1500m and 800m finals at the 1980 Olympics.

He remembers every metre of both races as well as the political context within which the Games took place and recalls the exact moment when he realised he had won an Olympic gold medal.

His edition of the Today programme will be available to listen to for seven days after broadcast on the iPlayer. More details about Today on the programme's website.
