A mother stabbed by her partner was jailed for contempt

A mother of four sent to prison for failing to give evidence against an ex-boyfriend who nearly killed her has told Radio 5 live she was too scared to do so.

Sacha Williams-Rowe, 31, spent two days in a coma after being stabbed by Lloyd Lothian, the father of three of her children.

She told Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire about giving evidence against him at trial that was later suspended due to the judge falling ill and how she became too traumatised when the case went to a re-trial.
