Back on dry land after 36 years

You might think that setting sail is something you do when you retire.

But one couple are retiring from sailing having set off on their travels in 1976.

Bill and Laurel Cooper, who are now 83 and 82 years old, have travelled the equivalent of four times around the globe, visited 45 countries along the way and even survived a hurricane.

They spoke to Charlie Stayt and Sally Nugent on BBC Breakfast.
