UK PM David Cameron: Eurozone needs 'firewall'

British Prime Minister David Cameron has said that it is now important to build "a firewall large enough to prevent contagion", after a new deal was agreed to help Greece tackle its debt crisis.

Loans of more than 130bn euros (£110bn; $170bn) and a write-down of at least 107bn were agreed overnight at marathon talks in Brussels.

Eurozone leaders said the deal had saved Greece from a default.

The UK remains outside the single currency but, with Europe a key trading ground, has a keen interest in seeing stability in the area.
