Hacking evidence 'overlooked'

The former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lord Blair, has told the Leveson inquiry that more effort could have been made to investigate phone hacking had he been better briefed.

The inquiry also heard that the police were pressurised to end an investigation into parliamentary leaks.
