Soldiers' families on sadness and pride after deaths in Afghanistan

The commanding officer of the six British soldiers killed in an explosion in Afghanistan has described them as "brothers in arms" who were "incredibly brave".

They had been in Helmand province for little more than a week. Their heartbroken families have been speaking of their loss. They described the young soldiers as heroes, of whom they were immensely proud.
