Concern over Schmallenberg virus in lambing season

The lambing season is well underway, but there is growing concern about a new virus carried by midges that can cause birth defects in sheep, cattle and goats.

More than 170 sheep farms have so far been affected by Schmallenberg disease.

The BBC's Jenny Hill reports.
