Crowds greet Queen at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have attended a service of thanksgiving at Cardiff's Llandaff Cathedral.

A crowd of hundreds, including school children waving flags, cheered the royal couple.

The event marked the start of a two day visit of south Wales as part of a UK-wide tour to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

Hywel Griffith reports.
