Gateshead flooding: 'Water poured through the doors'

Homes were evacuated and thousands were without power overnight as torrential rain caused flooding across the North East.

Several towns, including Gateshead, were badly affected with many homes evacuated due to flooding.

The BBC's Fiona Trott met Elsa whose belongings had to be put outside to dry after her house filled up with four feet of water in just 45 minutes.
